Ryan & Danyele Easterhaus
Student Impact: The Rock
Westfield, IN

Our mission is to develop the complete student: REACH – GUIDE – THRIVE

The vision of Student Impact is to encourage, engage, and fuel students’ individual passions by providing everyday skills, community involvement, and sports. Student Impact is able to REACH students by providing a safe haven during the after school hours when youth violence, drug use, sex, and crime most frequently occur. We GUIDE by creating lasting relationships with our students and incorporating service. We work in conjunction with the Westfield Washington school system to provide consistency and effectively prepare students to THRIVE in all areas of their lives using the Bible as our guide.

Ryan and Danyele Easterhaus serve on the Board and Danyele is the Executive Director of Student Impact.

Jeffrey & Roselyn Ellis
Horizon Christian Fellowship
La Crosse, WI

Jeffrey Ellis grew up in Indianapolis. He received the Lord as his Savior at summer camp in 7th grade. During his sophomore year of high school, Jeffrey began to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ when he started attending the youth group at Horizon Christian Fellowship. He desired nothing more than to serve the Lord with his whole heart. After high school, Jeff felt called to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College in Indianapolis in 2007. Jeff grew and matured in the Lord throughout the next two years of school and the gifts of evangelism and discipleship were revealed to him. Immediately following graduation, he completed one year of internship with the Bible College.

Roselyn Ellis grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and attended Harvest Christian Fellowship in Leo. She received the Lord as her Savior when she was three years old. At the age of 17, she knew she wanted to take her relationship with the Lord more seriously and decided to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College after high school in 2008. During the two years at Bible College, she also grew and matured in her relationship with Jesus and the gifts of administration and exhortation began to develop. She also completed one year of internship at the Bible College after graduation.

Jeffrey and Roselyn's friendship began to develop in 2008, when Roselyn began attending Bible College. After about five months of being friends, they decided to move into a relationship with intentions of marriage. After a year of dating, Jeffrey asked the question and she said, “Yes.” After a six-month engagement, they were married in June of 2010. They now have a beautiful, five month old daughter, Abigail, and hope to have many more. Psalm 127:3-5 - Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so
are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them.

The Ellis family currently resides in Indianapolis, but after much prayer, the Lord is calling them to move to La Crosse, Wisconsin, once known for having the most bars on a single street, downtown 3rd Street. They will be joining Matt and Molly Schroeder, who started Horizon Christian Fellowship of La Crosse in 2010, after Matt's completion of Bible College. The Ellis family has been called to help with the ministry in La Cross and to be arm lifters (like Aaron and Hur supporting the arms of Moses during battle, Exodus 17:11-13). Jeff will be helping with evangelism outreaches, followed by discipleship, and Roselyn will be serving with the worship ministry.

Please be in prayer for the Ellis family during their transition. Jeffrey is looking for employment and trusting the Lord to provide work that would permit him to take full advantage of any ministry opportunities. Roselyn is anticipating the development of a worship team that truly desires to serve the Lord and serve the body. One answered prayer is housing. The Lord has provided the perfect apartment located right downtown to call home.

Braxton & Jenny Roberts
Calvary Chapel Iron River
Iron River, MI

You can get the latest news on the Roberts by visiting Roberts In The River.

Braxton Roberts grew up in West Lafayette, Indiana, and was involved in crime, using drugs and alcohol habitually and was troubled in school. From his teens through his early twenties, he was arrested five times for crimes including possession, robbery, breaking and entering, minor consumption, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct. He had also been admitted to five drug and alcohol outpatient rehabilitation programs by the time he was 22. After nearly nine years of struggle with drug addiction and alcoholism, Braxton gave His life to Jesus Christ after a drinking and driving accident that nearly cost him his life in the spring of 2009.

Jenny grew up in Fulton, Indiana, with her parents and two sisters. When her parents divorced at age 12, Jenny began to seek the attention of boys. This led to a life of partying and promiscuity. In 2006, Jenny began walking with the Lord but was still trying to maintain a relationship with Braxton. In 2008, Jenny became pregnant with their first son. Later, Jenny began to feel God pull her away from Braxton as he was unwilling to give his life to Jesus. In order to pursue Christ, she moved in with her mother and she and Braxton shared custody of their son. During this time she and Braxton's mother, Traci, along with others, would pray for Braxton to turn away from his life of drugs and alcohol and give his life to Christ.

In May of 2009, God answered their prayers. After a night of drinking and drug use Braxton crashed his car into a concrete wall at 60 mph. He shattered his right foot, broke his ankle in two places, broke his leg, tore a ligament in his knee and broke his thumb, wrist and elbow. He was life-lined to South Bend and was taken into emergency surgery. Before going into surgery he experienced the loving presence and grace of Jesus Christ and surrendered his life while awaiting surgery. After a short time in the hospital Braxton spent the next few months in a wheel chair, reading his bible, praying, and going to bible studies and Sunday services at Calvary Chapel Lafayette. He and Jenny began premarital counseling, bringing Jesus into their previously tainted relationship. In September of 2009, they were married at Calvary Chapel Lafayette by Pastor Joe Bell.

Two years later they responded to God's call for them to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College. God has been refining their hearts and bringing them to a deeper and stronger faith and dependence on Him and His word. They have experienced God as Comforter and Healer, when Jenny's father passed away in 2013. They also have seen God move in their lives as Provider when they had little food at times. They would simply pray and three times they woke to find bags of groceries on their doorstep, having never told anyone of their situation.

Now the family is again responding to God's call to serve in Iron River, Michigan, which is in the Upper Peninsula. This is a remote area with much spiritual warfare and struggles. They are coming alongside the leadership of Calvary Chapel Iron River to assist in discipleship, evangelism, youth ministry, Alaskan missions work, and more. Braxton is taking an assistant pastor position with no salary in faith that this is where God has called his family to serve. Please pray for them as they head into this new season of serving Jesus, that they would serve heartily in spirit and in truth!
